Spencer Moray are specialist Insurance Brokers to the Coach and Bus Industry, and have been handling the Insurances of Coach and Bus fleets for over 20 years, offering market-leading schemes for Fleet, Travel, Legal Expenses, Tour Operators Liability, and Financial Failure Insurances.Spencer Moray are based in Bristol, but service and look after clients throughout the whole of the UK, providing a comprehensive portfolio of Insurance products that meet the needs of Clients from small family Coach operators to large corporate bus companies. The Company have a commitment to providing customers with claims reports and other risk management information to ensure there are no shocks when their insurances fall due for renewal.
For many years the Company ran a bespoke system, but had identified a need for a modern, flexible accounting system that would integrate with their Client databases. After considering several "off-the-shelf" Industry-specific packages, Spencer Moray chose Datafile as the solution that was best able to meet their requirements.
The Company has an eight user Premier System, running Nominal Ledger, Cash Book, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and the Fixed Asset Register. In addition, a Profiler application has been used to create a database of clients from which transactions for Insurance premiums and renewals can be generated. By using the Sales and Purchase Ledger batch update applications, those transactions are then posted through to the Financial Ledgers.
